Waste water treatment
K&W Transmissies develops, in cooperation with the engineering departments of the chain factory, customized chains for the waste water ttreatment and then keep a close watch over their production
Waste water treatment plants can be applied in many places. Depending on the water to be purified, drive chains are used which are fabricated to be acid-resistant or are made from stainless steel. Elevator chains are used in the longitudinal and transverse reamers. The performance and service life of the chains are decisive for the choice of materials. K&W Transmissies develops, in cooperation with the engineering departments of the chain factory, customized chains and then keep a close watch over their production. Renovations of various water treatment projects have led to the successful application of new technologies to these types of drive systems.
Packaging industry
The packing industry is increasingly interested in vacuum seal applications.
The gripper chain has gripper attachments on both sides, which can convey, for example, vacuum seal or paper. These special chains can be provided in various designs as well as custom made, in steel or stainless steel.
The offset sidebar chains are made of plastic, with stainless steel chain pins. These offset sidebar chains are easy to clean, have a long life, low noise level and high tensile strength. For heavy-duty applications there are cast iron versions.
Offshore
K&W Transmissies has, with its own and external R&D engineering departments, many years of experience when it comes to mechanical drives and conveyor systems for the offshore sector.
Specifically, the conveyor chains for pipe layers (tensioner chains) and pipe conveyor chains. As a competent partner of the industry, K&W Transmissies has a great deal of specific experience and knowledge.
